This is a rare opportunity to purchase an unmolested 1972 Mercedes-Benz 250 CE Coupe that’s recently been imported from the south of France.

Thanks to spending all its life in a generally warm climate this car is very solid, we were told it has been in storage for over 10 years until recently when it was pulled out of the shed, re-commissioned and put on French roads.

It comes with lots of original documents, an original owners manual in French, an original french sales brochure, a French V5/Logbook and an original Mercedes wallet with booklets.

Unfortunately the keys were lost so the former owner devised a starting mechanism that involves using a screwdriver – we do have a replacement barrel with a key and door handle (these can be seen in the photos)

It runs/drives perfectly and we welcome you to a test drive – we have also left car running for sometime and their are no leaks or any issues.

The chrome on the car is all in exceptional condition, all the hubcaps and tyres are also all in good condition.

The interior is in fair condition for its age with some age related wear, the passenger door card pocket is missing and one of the buttons for a lever has snapped off although we do have it. The headlining is all in good condition. The carpets are all there but have some age related wear.

The body overall is in very good condition but upon inspection we have found a small hole under the passenger floor, the boot floor has some decay due to the mat causing condensation when sat, drivers side has been scuffed on the door and back quarter and the boot has some small amounts of rust apperaing – you can view photos of these issues on our website. All the rest of the chassis/floors are very solid, door shuts intact, all the gutters are intact and the rest of the car is very solid with no rust issues.

It’s currently unregistered in the UK, we do offer a very simple process of registering it here and it’s all left in the hands of an agent for a fee of £110 – we’ll pass on contact details at the end of the sale.
